Mixing exchange traded funds and closed end funds is an interesting idea: ETFs like PCEF, YYY, and FCEF own a basket of CEFs as their underlying holdings. FCEF is considered an 'actively managed' ETF, while PCEF tracks a broad index of CEFs, and YYY tracks a high-yield subset of CEFs that rank highly for liquidity, yield, and discount to net asset value.
