CEF Screens |
Closed End Funds (CEFs) make for an interesting investment category for a number of reasons, one of which is that each fund's initial public offering raises a set amount of capital in exchange for a set amount of shares, and those shares are subsequently traded in the market just like any typical stock. This means that the trading price of a CEF can fluctuate not just based upon the underlying per-share value of the CEF but also based upon investor demand. In turn, shares of the CEF can often trade either above or below the per-share net asset value. The helpful closed end fund screens presented on this page are a great tool to identify CEFs worth investigating further. |
